Dottie E (Myers) McCombs

Dottie E. McCombs, 81 of Lyons IN, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN.

            She was born on January 18, 1936 in Linton, IN the daughter of Delbert Myers and Rosaletha Wools Myers. She ran the Generations Senior Citizen in Lyons, IN and delivered Meals on Wheels.

            Dottie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James McCombs, one brother, Delbert (Jim Jack) Myers and two infant siblings.

            Survivors include one son, Scott McCombs (Lisa) of Sandborn, IN, two daughters, Debbie Bolin McCombs of Lyons, IN and Misty McCombs of Lyons, IN, one brother, Roger Myers (Rochelle) of TN, one sister, Patty Smith (Bob) of Clinton, IN, and six grandchildren, Willow Sergeant, Calla Sergeant, Jessica McCombs, Ryan McCombs, Joshua Bolin, and Dane Bolin.

            A graveside service will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Lyons, IN with Rose Sparks officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to Newkirk’s Funeral Home.
