Earl E Medlin

Earl L Medlin, 63 of Dugger, IN passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at his residence.

Earl was born on July 1, 1954 in East Chicago, IN the son of Roy Lee Medlin and Deloris Ruth Lovin (Mendez).

He was a self employed construction worker.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one son, Matthew Day.

Survivors include his wife, Mavis Denise (Tatum) Medlin, three sons, Christopher Medlin of Indiana, Scot Lee Medlin (Michelle) of Portage, Indiana, and Scott Day (Aveen) of Gary, Indiana, two daughters, Sandra Medlin of Linton, Indiana and Melissa Day Smith of Montgomery, Alabama,  one step brother, Frank Reed of Huntsville, Alabama, fifteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

          There will be no visitation. The family has chosen cremation. Arrangements were entrusted to Newkirk’s Funeral Home.
