Myrna Ruth (Thompson) Bargar

Myrna R. Bargar, 83 of Dugger, IN went to be with the Lord and her husband on Monday, March 20, 2017 at Sullivan Community Hospital in Sullivan, IN,

            Myrna was born on February 21, 1934 at home in Cass IN., the daughter of Frank Thompson and Chlotine (Chloie) Blake Thompson. She was a member of the Dugger Church of Christ and the Bykota Club. She was employed at G.E., Latex, Gossards, and Inmed for over twelve years. Myrna and Freddie were married for 63 ½ years, by brother Clymore in the Dugger Church of Christ on June 23, 1951.

             She was preceded in death by her parents, also her husband Freddie Bargar, and one son-in-law, Terry Medlock.

            Survivors include one son Dennis Bargar (Daphne) of Dugger, IN,  three daughters, Carla Medlock of Linton, IN, Denise Case (Robert) of Dugger, IN. and Shelly Sweatman (Danny) of Sandersville, GA., one sister, Wanda Ranard (Bill) of Dugger, IN. fourteen grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and her two special friends Margie Thomas and Sue Ann Booker.

            Funeral services will be held at Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger, IN at 1:00 PM on Thursday March 23, 2017 with the Pastor Nick Moore officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday March 22, 2017  from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.  Interment will follow in the Dugger Cemetery.
