Sandra E. (Bonham) Vaughn

               Sandra Ellen Vaughn, 71 of Linton, IN, went to be with the Lord in the early hours of Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.

            She was born May 14, 1945 in Sullivan County, IN., the daughter of Charles Bonham and Lily Hines Bonham.

            Sandie was preceded in death by her parents, also her husband H.C. Vaughn, one son, Scott Vaughn, three brothers, Charles, Robert, and Michael Bonham, and four sisters, Helen Land, June Froeschke, Dorothy Wright, and Phyllis Villain, and her best friend Marion Fulford.

            Survivors include two daughters, Tammy Vaughn of Boonville, IN, and Nicky Carr of Linton, IN, one son in law, Chris Carr, one daughter in law, Karen Kajmawicz, one brother, Lewis Bonham (Sherry) of Dugger, IN, two sisters in law, Romona Bonham of Dugger, IN, and Karen Bonham of Dugger, IN, nine grandchildren, Joshua McGowan, Chelsea McGowan, Kaitlyn Vaughn, Christopher Michael, Jackson Vaughn-Kajmowicz, Tenley Vaughn-Kajmowicz, Taylor Vaughn-Kajmowicz, Emma Carr, and Lily Carr, and five great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly, and best friends, Tamise Miller, Amanda Turner, and Miriam Watson, and too many others to mention who held a special place in her heart.

            Funeral services will be held at Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger, IN at 1:00 PM on Wednesday January 11, 2017 with Jerry Bonham officiating. Visitation wil be from 11:00 AM to the time of the service. Interment will follow in the Dugger Cemetery.
