Allen Robert Ruff

Allen Robert Ruff, 69 of Sullivan, IN passed away Monday, July 9, 2018 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.

            He was born in Sullivan, IN,  February 18, 1949 the son of Robert Ruff and Nancy (Bratcher) Ruff. He was a Labor working for Perdue Farms for 29 years and Benefiel Saw Mill.

            He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Dianna (Fordyce) Ruff, his step father, Lynzie Souders, three sisters, Mickey Linn, Christine Marshall, and Rosemary Plann-Danko, one granddaughter , Tequilla Ruff.

            Survivors include, one son, Patrick Ruff of Linton, IN, one daughter, Nicole Sweeney of Sullivan, IN, two brothers, Timothy Ruff of Pleasantville, IN and Joe Souders (Theresa) of Pleasantville, IN, three sisters, Darlene Manuel (James) of Cass, IN, Lesley Stephens of Sullivan, IN, and Anna Hunter of Arizona, three grandchildren, Harley Cottingham (Jack), Chevy Ruff, and Tianna Sweeney, and three great grandchildren, Maggie, Benjamin, and Jennifer Cottingham one nephew Glen “Boy” Stephens Jr. of Sullivan, IN and one niece, Jennifer Goodman Baker of Terre Haute, IN, his special friend, Debra Sweeney of Sullivan, IN, one daughter-in-law Chandra Salesman of Jasonville, IN, and longtime friend Corky Todd of Pleasantville, IN.

            Funeral services will be held at Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger, IN on Friday July 13, 2018 at 1:00 PM, with the Rev. Sam Bush officiating. Visitation will be held Friday July 13, 2018 at 11:00 Am until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Indian Prairie Cemetery in Carlisle, IN.
