Irene T (Goodman) Bedwell

Irene T. Bedwell, 97, of Sullivan, IN passed away on Tuesday September 1, 2020 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Sullivan, IN.

She was born on March 30, 1923  in Greene County, IN the daughter of Edwin Goodman and Jenny (Andis) Goodman.

Irene was a homemaker and a member of the Pleasantville United Methodist Church in Pleasantville, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Loren Leon Bedwell, one daughter, Joyce Rankin, two brothers, Harold Goodman, Everett Goodman, and one sister, Meredith Carr.

            Survivors include two daughters, Gayle Meece (Jim) of Bloomingdale, IN, Deanna Winans of Hilliard, OH, a half sister, Phyllis Mefford of Oolitic, IN, son in-law Kenny Rankin of Columbus, IN, and a brother and sister in-law Jim and Sue Bedwell of Linton, IN, five grandchildren, Jason Thurman (Sandy), Caryn Suiters (Ty), Nathan Rankin (Lana), Ryan Rankin, Kevin Rankin (Alicia), and eight great grandchildren.

            A graveside service will be held at Mt Moriah Cemetery in Dugger, IN Friday, September 4, 2020 at 1:00 P.M.

            Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger, IN.
