Evan Dow Reynolds, 31, of Princeton IN. and formally of Dugger, IN passed away on Friday, July 5, 2019. He was born November 16, 1987 in Sullivan, IN to Raymond M. (Sonny) and Rondi D. (Goodin) Reynolds. He attended Sullivan and Dugger schools and graduated from Union High School in 2006 where he was a member of the golf and football teams. He attended Ivy Tech Community College where he graduated with a degree in welding.
He was a proud sixth generation coal miner, working locally, in Australia, and most recently Gibson County. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and attended Whosoever Will Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to travel after his experiences he had living and working in Australia, and had intentions of returning. He was learning to speak Japanese for a future trip to Japan and was planning a family trip to Ireland. He loved being with his family and friends. He always was a helping hand to others and was never seen without a smile on his face.
He is survived by his parents Raymond (Sonny) and Rondi Reynolds both of Dugger, IN, his two sons, Tristan and Briar Reynolds, a brother Ryan, a sister Madison, his grandfather Dennis Miller of Sullivan, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Raymond H. and Esse (Quillen) Reynolds, Sandra Kay (Green) Miller and Ronald L. Goodin.
He was loved by all and will be greatly missed. He is in the embrace of our Lord and Savior. Save a place my sweet baby boy.
Services will be held at Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger, IN on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 1:00 PM, with the Matthew Ranard and Chip Langley officiating. Visitation will follow at 11:00 AM until the time of the service. A private interment will be in the Dugger Cemetery.
