Marjorie M Miller

Marjorie M. Miller, 97 of Sullivan, IN passed away Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Sullivan, IN.

            She was born in Sullivan County, IN December 11, 1921 the daughter of Arlie Patton and Nell (Hummell) Patton. Marjorie was a homemaker. In 1945 she moved to Chicago Heights and after retirement in 1985 moved back to Dugger, IN.

            She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Merlin Miller, two brothers, Wendell and William Patton, and three sisters, June Hoesman, Barbara Patton, and Phyllis Patton.

            Survivors include one son, Michael Miller of Denver, CO, two brothers Wayne Patton (Margaret) of Greenwood, IN and Fred Patton of Terre Haute, IN, one sister, Ruth Figg (Benny) of Sullivan, IN and several nieces and nephews.

            Funeral services will be held at Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger, IN on Tuesday March 12, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. with Bro. J.B. Smith officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday March 12, 2019 from 11:00 A.M. to the time of the service. Interment will follow at Woodward Cemetery in Dugger, IN.
