Mary Etta Everett, 82, of Dugger, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2019, at Gibson Family Center for Hospice in Terre Haute, Indiana.
She was born on May 14, 1937 in Vincennes, Indiana, the daughter of Walter A. Catt and Velda O. Ridgley Catt. She was a member of the Sullivan County Extension Home Ec Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Marion Everett, son Rodger Dale Catt, and sister Rebecca Hall.
Survivors include sons, Marion Arrell Everett Jr (Brenda) of Switz City, Harold Lee Everett (Eva) of Francisco, Billy Joe Everett (Debra) of Dugger, Mark Edward Everett (Kristy) of Carlisle, daughter Barbara Jean Kunkle (Ed) of Huntingburg, brother Walter Catt (Marietta) of Monroe City, sisters, Marilyn Lane (Ron) of Vincennes, Minnie Krieg of Princeton, Vicki Shatz of Monroe City, fourteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 PM, Saturday, August 24, 2019, at Newkirk’s Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Dickey officiating. Interment will follow in Edwardsport Town Cemetery located in Edwardsport, Indiana. A visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until service time on Saturday.
