Norita L (Jeffers) Jackson

Norita L. Jackson, 61 of Indianapolis, IN passed away Saturday, July 13, 2019 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.

            She was born in Sullivan, County June 28, 1958 the daughter of Melvin Ray Jeffers and LaSondra ( Miller) Jeffers.

            Norita was a R.N. employed with St. Vincent’s Home Health Care. She was a member of the Nurses Association. Norita was very dedicated to her family, friends, and her career.        

            She was preceded in death by her parents.

            Survivors include her loving partner, William Jackson of Avon, IN, one daughter, LeShan Fitzsimmons (Richard Jr.) of Greencastle, IN. one sister, Cindy Pearcy (Bill) of Danville, IN, three grandchildren, Devon (Shiloh), Brandon, and Sarah Fitzsimmons, and two great grandchildren, Noah and Brynlee Fitzsimmons.

            Funeral will be held at Emmanuel Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Hymera, IN, on Thursday July 18, 2019 at 2:00 PM, with Pastor Robert Weir officiating. Visitation will be Thursday July 18, 2019 11:00 AM to the time of the service at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at the K of P Cemetery in Hymera IN.
