Teresa Sue Chambers

Teresa Sue Chambers, 65 of Dugger, IN passed away Monday January 28, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

            She was born December 20, 1953 the daughter of Stanley “Buck” John Jobe and Rita Rae (Richards) Jobe.

            She was preceded in death by her mother Rita Jobe and on brother-in-law Bobby Dale Chambers.

            Teresa graduated from Union High School in 1971 and graduated from Indiana State University with a bachelors degree. She was a switchboard operator and Lab Technician at Greene County Hospital for over 40 years, with the majority of those years spent as the laboratory supervisor.

             Survivors include her husband Marion “Butch” Chambers of 42 years, whom she married on July 7, 1976, her father Stanley “Buck” Jobe of Dugger, IN,  two sons, Jared Chambers (Brittnie) of Linton, IN and Brandon Chambers (Brittany) of Linton, IN, six grandchildren, Jaden, Carsyn, Bradie, Oakley, Bristol, and Taten Chambers, two brothers, David Jobe (Pam) of Sullivan, IN, and Chriss Jobe (Angie) of Dugger, IN, two sisters, Karen Cottingham (Doug) of Dugger, IN, and Heather Talbott of Dugger, IN, two brothers-in-law, Gary Chambers of Sullivan, IN, and Marty Chambers of Dugger, IN, and two sisters-in-law,  Pam Brewer of Dugger IN, and Millie Cliver, of Terre Haute, IN, and several nieces and nephews.

            Funeral services will be held at Shiloh Church of Christ in Dugger, IN on Friday, February 1, 2019 at 12:00 P.M., with Bro J.B. Smith officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger, IN 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M, and from 10:00AM until services Friday, February 1. 2019 at the Shiloh Church of Christ in Sullivan, IN. Interment will follow in the Woodward Cemetery in Dugger, IN.
