Winfred Michael Ferguson

Winfred Michael Ferguson (Mike), 77 of Bloomfield, IN passed away at 2:20 PM Saturday, April 8, 2017 at IU Hospice Health House in Bloomington, IN.

            Mike was born in Sullivan, IN February 28, 1940 the son of E.W. Ferguson and Annabelle (June) Ringer Ferguson. He grew up in Dugger, IN and graduated from Union High School in 1958.

            He was preceded in death by his parents.

            Survivors include his wife Joyce Ballard Ferguson whom he married on March 18, 1960. They were married in the Dugger Church of Christ and remained lifelong members there.

Mike and Joyce lived and worked in Martinsville, IN for 30 years. 

            Also surviving are two sons; James Michael Ferguson and Stephen Ferguson, 4 grandchildren; Terra, Tonya, Eric, and Jessica 3 great grandchildren; Raelin, Jaida, and Konner, a brother, Phil Mark Ferguson (Gaile), sister Belinda Jane Sills (Bill).

            Funeral services will be at 1:00PM Wednesday April12, 2017 at Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger, IN with Bro Nick Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Dugger Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00AM until services Wednesday.
