ALINE J (HAINUT) HENSLEY

Aline J. Hensley, 95 of Linton, IN passed away at her home peacefully on Monday, February 1, 2021.

            She was born in Linton, IN September 26, 1925 the daughter of Ivan Hainut and Nellie (Duffroy) Hainut.

            She was a graduate of  Linton High School, and retired from Indiana Bell, later AT&T after 30 years.

            She was preceded in death by her parents, also her first husband of 20 years Ralph Cox, and her second husband Eugene Cotton Hensley for more than 20 years. They enjoyed gardening, dancing, fishing and camping. They had a river cabin on the White River. Many summers were spent there with friends at cookouts and BBQ’S.

            She later met Clarence Heck, and they spent many happy years together, dancing at the Moose and Legion. They also had huge gardens, enjoyed fishing and traveling together. He also preceded her in death.

            Aline is survived by a daughter, Teena Cox (Kermit Smith) of Linton, IN.

            Graveside services will be at 1:00PM Thursday, February 4, 2021 at the Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Carmichael officiating.

            Arrangements were entrusted to Newkirk’s Funeral Home.
