Alan B Sweeney

Alan B Sweeney, 71, of Ellettsville, Indiana, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018 in Ellettsville, Indiana.

            He was born in Sullivan, Indiana, October 16, 1946, the son of Robert Sweeney and Esther (Saucerman) Sweeney.

            He was preceded in death by his parents.

            Survivors include one brother, Vernon Sweeney (Cheryl) of Bloomington, Indiana, two nieces, Miriam Sweeney (Todd Freeborn), Rebekah Baker (Glen), one nephew, Chris Pheifer (Angie), two great nieces, Fiona Pheifer and Catalina Pheifer, and one great nephew, Viggo Pheifer

            Funeral services will be held at Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger, Indiana, on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 12:00 PM with Nathan Stewart officiating. A visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to the time of the service. Interment will follow in Woodward Cemetery.
