Byron Jay Daniels

Byron “Jay” Daniels, 75 of Worthington, IN passed away at 9:15 AM Saturday, June 18, 2016 at his residence.
He was born in Muncie, Indiana, August 7, 1940 the son of Rex Daniels and Naomi Carpentier Daniels.
Jay was a member of the Lincoln Christian Church in Jasonville, IN, a US Army Veteran, retired from Crane Naval Support Center, and was also employed with the railroad.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Annette Wilson Daniels, three daughters; Michelle Fisher (Jeffrey) of Waterford, VA, Jennifer Heaton (Morgan) of Bloomfield, IN, Kristi Gilstrap (Brad) of Worthington, IN, a brother, Brad Daniels (Wilma) of New Whiteland, IN , and eight grandchildren; Michaela, Joshua, Joe, Paul, Haven, Brody, Blaine and Gavin.
Funeral services will be at 11:00AM Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger, IN with Pastor Cliff Gano officiating. Burial will follow in the Dugger Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Monday and before services Tuesday.
