Carl Eugene Wence

Carl Eugene Wence ., 83,  of Linton, Indiana passed away at Indian Creek in Corydon, Indiana.

            Carl was born in Vincennes, Indiana, August 23. 1939, the son of Carl Wence and Barbara (Booker) Wence. He was a security guard at G.E. in Linton, Indiana.

            He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Judy Wence, and two grandchildren; Katie and Matthew Wence.

            Survivors include four sons; David Wence of Linton, Indiana, Daniel Wence of Falls Church, Virginia, Rob Alkire and Bill Alkirethree brothers; Ronnie Wence (Shirley) of Arizona, Larry Wence (Earline) of Kentucky, Terry Wence (Mary) of Terre Haute, Indiana, six grandchildren; Adam Wence, Noah Wence, Joshua Wence, Christ Hull, Aaron Alkire and Hunter Alkire and three great grandchildren; Octavia Wence, Sutton Wence, and Amara Wence.

            Funeral services will be held at Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger, Indiana, Saturday October 29, 2022 at 2:00 P.M., with Pastor Darren McDonald officiating. Visitation will be Friday, October 28, 2022 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Interment will follow in Dugger Cemetery in Dugger, Indiana.
