Christopher Lee Mosher

Christopher Lee Mosher, 38, of Sullivan, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Crane Naval Base.

He was born on January 31, 1983 in Sullivan, Indiana the son of Kenneth Murphy and Susan Mosher. Chris was a self-employed logger. He married Ashley Howard on June 18, 2011.

Chris is preceded in death by his parents, grandmother, Wanda Murphy, grandmother Kay Marsh and his uncles; Bruce Murphy and James Murphy.

Survivors include loving wife of 20 years, Ashley Mosher, son, Colton Mosher of Sullivan, Indiana, two daughters; Susan Howard of Sullivan, Indiana and Sara Mosher of Sullivan, Indiana, two sisters; Missy Mosher of Sullivan, Indiana and Dakota Murphy of Minnesota, brother, Dewayne Clemons, adopted mother and aunt Jo Kay Valencia ( Florida), aunt and uncle Mike and Mary Jane Murphy, aunt and uncle Michael and Melissa Marsh ( Indiana), mother-in-law, Marilynn (Kevin) Phegley of Fairbanks, Indiana, father-in-law, Steve (Amy) Howard of Shelburn, Indiana, sister-in-law, Kyllie Rogers and brother-in-law, Steve (Angie) Howard. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews; Kenny Reeves, Alex Reeves, Brasen Bagley, Elainey Howard, Braiden Billings and Sadie Rogers and cousins Daniel Murphy (Indiana) Jenna Terronez (Texas) Brandi Davis (Pennsylvania) ( and their children) Tyler Marsh (Indiana).

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger, Indiana with Pastor Tracey Hamilton officiating . A visitation will be from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Newkirk’s Funeral Home.

Due to State Mandate, only 50 people are allowed in the funeral home at one time, and face mask must be worn.
