David Edwin Davies, 82 of Dugger, IN. passed away on Monday, September 14, 2015 at Sullivan Community Hospital.
David was born on May 31, 1933 in Dugger, IN. the son of Phillip Davies and Mary Alice Edwards Davies. He retired from Crane and was a Korean War army veteran.
David was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Phillip Davies and George Davies, one nephew, William Davies.
Survivors include two nieces, Alice Marcotte (Jerry) of Westfield, IN and Teresa Yates (Drew) of Sullivan, IN, several great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger, IN. on Saturday September 19, 2015 at 1:00 PM with the Pastor Kalvin Morrison officiating. Friends may call from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM the day of the service. Interment will follow in the Dugger Cemetery. Military graveside rites will be held by the Dugger and Linton American Legion Posts.
