Dorothy A (Nichols) Meeks

Dorothy A. Meeks, 85, of Dugger, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2015, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Sullivan, Indiana.
She was born on July 7, 1929, in Dugger the daughter of David Nichols and Delphia Patton Nichols.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James Meeks, one son, Brent Meeks, one daughter, Peggy Meeks - King, two brothers, Charles Nichols, and Olaf Nichols, and two sisters, Ruth Nichols and Frieda Booker.
Survivors include one son, Floyd “Cokie” Meeks (Julie) of Carlisle, one brother, William Nichols of Dugger, three grandchildren, Tiffany King, Travis Meeks, and Whitney Meeks, and one great-grandchild, Maddie Meeks.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Monday, February 23, 2015, at Newkirk’s Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Dugger Cemetery. Family and close friends may call from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM on Monday.
