Edna Mae (Stephens) Troup

Edna M. Troup, 80, of Linton, IN passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at her residence. She was born in Linton, IN August 14, 1945 the daughter of Leo Stephens and Marie Cunnigham Stephens. Edna formerly worked at G.E. in Linton, IN and attended The Methodist Church in Glenburn. She was preceded in death by her parents, also two brothers; Earl and Butch Stephens and two sisters, Donna and Shirley Stephens, two nephews; Bobby O’Dell and Terry O’Dell. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Danny Troup whom she married on February 4, 1965, two sons; Shawn Troup (Michelle) of Fairbanks, IN and David Wayne Troup, 5 grandchildren; Danni Marie Troup, Jayce Edward Wayne Troup, and Rikki Dawn Roberts, Ethan Drake,and Arlie Irwin, 7 great grandchildren, special nephews, Rick (Pepper) Troup, Jeff Norris, Jon Barr and special nieces; Cheryl Brown (Barry), Tonya Flora (Richard), Theresa Troup, Tammy Wagle, and Debbie Brower, also several other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 1:00PM Saturday October 18, 2025 at Newkirk’s Funeral Home with Tonya Flora officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Linton, IN. Visitation will be from 11:00AM until services Saturday at Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger, IN. Newkirk’s Funeral Home was honored to assist the family with the arrangements. .
