Gloria Jean (Hamilton) Price

Gloria Jean Price, 83, of Rosedale, IN passed away on Monday, March 30, 2026, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.

            She was born in Vincennes, IN February 18, 1943, the daughter of Virgil S. Hamilton and Rosemary Stough Hamilton, who preceded her in death.

            Gloria graduated from L&M High School in 1961, she was a cheerleader, in the band and 4-H, she was also a member of the Eastern Star of Sullivan, IN. She was a homemaker, loved gardening and spending time with her family.

            Survivors include her husband of 64 years Robert W. Price whom she married on January 27, 1962, also a son, Richard W. Price (Pamela) of Clinton, IN, three grandchildren, Randall Price (Andrea), Matthew Price (Pacee) and Adam Price, and 10 great grandchildren.

            Funeral services will be at 1:00PM Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger, IN. Burial will follow in the Burris Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00AM until services Saturday.
