HELEN L (PATTON) BORDERS

Helen L. Borders, 91, of Dugger, IN passed away Thursday September 29, 2022, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Sullivan, IN.

            She was born in Sullivan Co., IN February 17, 1931, the daughter of Carl Patton and Zella Walters Patton.

            Helen was a member of the Church of Christ in Dugger, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William “Jack” Borders in 2001, also two brothers, Robert Patton and Junior Joe Patton, two sisters, Fonda Long and Snoda Cox, a nephew, Rusti Cox, and a niece Debbie Bevienhour.      

            Survivors include a brother Gary Patton, several nieces and nephews, great and great great,  including, Lori Landis, Ron and Elaine Cox, Kathy Cox, and Mark Borders.

            Graveside services will be Monday, October 3, 2022, at 2:00PM at the Dugger Cemetery with Bro. Nick Moore officiating.

            Arrangements were entrusted to Newkirk’s Funeral Home.
