Jody G. Mowery

Jody G. Mowery, 56, of Edwardsport, IN passed away Saturday, September 24, 2022, at St. Vincent Heart Center in Indianapolis, IN.

He was born in Linton, IN February 25, 1966, the son of Elmer Mowery and Ann Bennington Mowery.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

He was a member of the Vigo Volunteer Fire Dept Auxiliary, past Firefighter in Edwardsport, IN, member of the IVFA, and past Indiana Guard Reserve and Son of American Legion Squadron #192.

Survivors include his father Elmer Mowery (Linda) of Worthington, IN, son, Jody Guy Mowery Jr. (Beverly) of Nashville, TN, daughter, Jessica Harroll (Heath) of Vincennes, IN, brother, Joe Lee Mowery of Lyons, IN, 3 sisters, Nicole Beth May (Kent) of Jasonville, IN, Cali Joe Ballie of Petersburg, and Christy of Emmison, IN two grandchildren Jacklynne, and Levi, his Aunt Paula Gaines, cousins; Melody Welsh, Janet Gaines and Julie McIntyre and family, extended family, Deloris Newkirk, James Newkirk, Jeanna Cummings , ex-wife Darlene Douglas and her family and several loving aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Cremation has been chosen. There will be a celebration of life at the Edwardsport Volunteer Fire Dept Saturday, October 8, 2022, from 1:00PM until 3:00PM with a Memorial Service at 1:00PM by the IVFA and burial in the Stafford Cemetery.
