John A. House, 75, of Henderson, KY passed away Monday, October 26, 2020 at the Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, IN.
He was born in Sullivan, IN July 31, 1945 the son of Jefferson House and Jennie (Chandler) House.
John retired from the Terre Haute Federal Prison, then he became a Realtor in Henderson, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents, also four brothers, William, Jefferson (Butch), Jack and Robert (Bob) House, and a sister, Melba Cartwright.
Survivors include three sisters, Nancy Hardesty of Jasonville, IN, Shirley Cullison of Dugger, IN and Jennie Darlene House of Louisville, KY, a sister in-law Mary House of Dugger, IN also several nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside service at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 7, 2020 at the Dugger cemetery with Rev. Dick Smith officiating. There will be no visitation. Arrangements were entrusted to Newkirk’s Funeral Home.
The family has requested that all who attend the service to wear a mask.
