John Young

John E Young, 92 of Dugger, Indiana passed away December 8, 2024, at his home in Dugger, Indiana.

John was born September 11, 1932, in Tifton, Georgia. He was the son of Henry Young and Lela Mae (Howell) Young. John worked in construction for WB Johnson Properties in Atlanta, Georgia for twenty years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife and mother of his children, Sue Ellen Sparks Young, wife, Nada Sparks Young, three brothers, Bobby, Billy, and Benny Young, and three sisters, Mildred Booth, Dorothy McClellan, and Emily Roland.

Survivors include his son, Eric Young (Amy) of Dugger, Indiana, and a daughter, Diana Young of Leesburg, Florida.

Arrangements were entrusted to Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger, Indiana
