Judith Ann (Walters) Cottingham

Judith Ann Cottingham 72, of Vincennes, IN passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2025 the Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes. She was born in Sullivan, IN June 10, 1952 the daughter, of Charles Allen Walters and Margaret Ann Hendricks. Judy graduated from Union High School in 1970 and from Vincennes University with an RN degree in 1995. She was a RN at several hospitals and nursing homes for 12 years. She also attended The First Christian Church in Dugger, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one step grandson. Survivors include her husband of 44 years Terry Cottingham, one son, Jeffrey Allen Powell of Billing, Montana, 2 stepchildren, Jack L. Cottingham of Linton, IN, and Brandy Holtsclaw (Bryan Brinson) of Worthington, IN, a sister, Linda Robinson (Jim) of Rockvale, TN, a brother, Charles Allen Walters (Cathy) of Vicksburg ,IN, 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2:00PM Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger, IN with Rev. Jerry Carmichael officiating. Burial will follow in the Dugger Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00am until 2:00pm at the Funeral Home.
