Lenny R. Wheeler, 70, of Dugger, IN passed away at 10:40 AM Friday, June 26, 2015 at his residence.
He was born in Sullivan Co., IN March 13, 1945 the son of Leonard Roy Wheeler and Mary Frances Fredrick Wheeler.
Lenny was a retired electrical engineer from Crane Naval Surface Warfare Center.
He was preceded in death by his father, also his step father; Dean Moore.
Survivors include his mother; Mary Frances Fredrick Moore of Dugger, IN, wife Marjorie Dale Wheeler of Dugger, IN, two sons; Leonard Wheeler (Jean) of Linton, IN, Lenny Daniel Wheeler (Jorae) of Washington, IN, one daughter; Francie Ausman (Perry) of Linton, IN, a sister; Sheena Pope of Dugger, IN, four grandchildren; Megan Owens, Cristy Phipps, Misty Ausman, and Christopher Fisher, two great grandchildren Brookelyn Fender, and Adelyn Carpenter.
Funeral services will be at 2:00PM Tuesday June 30, 2015 at Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger, In with Pastor Wayne Neeley officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until service Tuesday.
