Mabel M (Gardner) Usrey

Mabel M. Usrey, 89, of Linton, IN passed away Friday, December 7, 2018 at Greene Co. General Hospital.
            She was born in Coalmont, Indiana January 10, 1929 the daughter of Aaron Gardner and Sally White Gardner.
            Mabel was a member of the Church of Christ in Dugger and was formerly a greeter at Wal-Mart.
            She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert Usrey July 7, 1988 and 6 brothers and 5 sisters.
            Survivors include three sons, Stephen Usrey (Ann) of Linton, IN, Mark Usrey (Kelli) of Bloomfield, IN, David Usrey (Marcy) of Dugger, IN, one daughter, Linda Shonk (Rick) of Linton, IN, 8 grandchildren, Kim Meek (Kevin), Doug Usrey, Greg Shonk (Shelly), Mike Shonk (Heidi), Bethany Hendricks, Laci Todd (Cory), Adam Vandeventer  (Kristi) and Ivan Usrey (Zephrell), several great and great great grandchildren.
            Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday December 12, 2018 at Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger, IN with Bro. J. B. Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Dugger Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until funeral services Wednesday.
