Margaret R. Ball, 85, of Linton, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2015, at Glenburn Nursing Home in Linton, Indiana.
She was born on December 5, 1929, in Sullivan County the daughter of Otto Hale and Elsie Wolfe Hale.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Ball, three brothers, Sammy, Ralph and David Hale, three sisters, Ilo Cooksey, Imo Carlisle, and Rachel West.
Survivors include one son, Larry Ball of Linton, two daughters, Patricia George of Linton, and Rita Powell (John) of Palmetto, Florida, five grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 7, 2015, at Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger with Pastor David Ball officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery located in Linton. Friends may call from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, January 6, 2015, at Newkirk’s.
