Obituary

Marilyn J. Bohnert, 87, of Dugger, IN passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020 at Glenburn Home in Linton, IN.

            She was born in Dugger, IN September  9, 1932 the daughter of Murray Griffith and Mildred Allen Griffith.

 Marilyn  married Kenneth Bohnert   on June 30, 1951 and he preceded her in death on February 11, 2020.

            She was a lifetime member of the First Christian Church in Dugger, and for several years delivered the Terre Haute Tribune Star newspaper.

            She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Kenneth Bohnert , a son, Joe Ray Bohnert, a grandson, Tanner Jo Bohnert, and four brothers.

            Survivors include a son,  Allan Bohnert (Connie) of Dugger, IN, daughter, Kathy Goodman (Myron) of Dugger, IN, seven grandchildren, Marci (Dan) Gamble of Linton, Talli (Tim) Meek of Linton, Troy (Barrette) Goodman of Linton, Josh (Tara) Bohnert of Worthington, Michael Bohnert, LaTasha Ball of Linton, Kaylee (Cody) Bohnert of Dugger, thirteen great-grandchildren, Abbi and Spencer Gamble, Isabel, Grant, and Truman Meek, Trey, Cassi, and Casen Goodman, Austin and Olivia Bohnert, Eli Bohnert, Briana Jones, and Wyatt Ball, and a special nephew Ernest (Bussie) Bohnert Jr.

            Private graveside services will be held at the Dugger Cemetery with Pastor Eddie Hammond officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to Newkirk’s Funeral Home.

            In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Activity Dept of the Special Care Unit of Glenburn Home 618 W. Glenburn Rd. Linton, IN 47441.
