Marilyn J (Pershing) Brewer

Marilyn J. Brewer, 85 of Sullivan, IN passed away Sunday February 28,2021.

She was born March 10, 1935 in Linton, IN the daughter of Elza Pershing and Fern (Paige) Pershing.

She was a member of the Samaria Pentecostal Church in Dugger, IN. Marilyn Worked at G.C. Murphy’s for 25 years and Dogwood Lane in Dugger, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edward Brewer on August 13, 2000, a daughter, Joyce Brewer, a brother, Marion Pershing, two sisters, Donna Clymore, Deloris Lynch and two grandchildren.

Survivors include four daughters, Judy Secrest (Pete) of Dugger, IN., Connie McGhee (Rodney) of Dugger, IN., Eileen Crowe (Kevin) of Cass, IN., Tiffany Moore (Gordon) of Cass, IN., Two sisters, Debbie Hill of Jasonville, IN., Sandy Romine (Carl) of Morristown, IN., four grandchildren, and seventeen great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger, IN on Thursday March 4, 2021 at 2:00 P.M with Rev. Gary Shaw officiating. Visitation  will be Thursday March 4, 2021 11:00 A.M. to the time of the service. Interment will follow at Dugger Cemetery in Dugger, IN.
