Marina Mae Rooksberry, 79, of Sullivan, IN passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at Sullivan Co. Community Hospital in Sullivan, IN.
She was born in South Bend, IN the daughter of Harry Keller and Ophelia Goodman Keller Marina was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, and she formerly worked at G.E. in Linton, IN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, also a sister Eva Keller.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Robert Rooksberry whom she married on July 31, 1965, a daughter, Michelle Lewis (Kevin) Pleasantville, IN, sister Barbara Wilson of Vincennes, IN, 5 grandchildren, Ashlee Schickel (Corey), Courtney Horton (Bradon), Ethan Lewis, Hannah Lewis (Keaton) and Benjamyn Lewis (Aaliyah), and 7 great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Paizley, Haizley, Brixton, Chesney, Payton, and Tyson.
Funeral services will be Monday, March 25, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger, IN with cremation to follow. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until services Monday. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association. Envelopes will be available at the Funeral Home.
