Martha Alice (Terhune) Goodman

Martha Alice Goodman, 92, of Dugger, IN passed away Thursday, December 15, 2022 at her home.

    She was born in Dugger, IN July 23, 1930 the daughter of Ollie Terhune and Flora Borders Terhune.

Martha was a graduate of Union High School , class of 1948.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Cornie Tom Goodman on June 28, 1997, brothers, Earl Eugene (Pete) Terhune, Thomas Terhune, and John Terhune, sisters, Evelyn Jane Simmons and Vanessa Thompson.

       Survivors include her children, Myron Goodman (Kathy) of Dugger, IN and Johannah Stringfellow (Anthony) of Sullivan, IN, sister, Kaye Bedwell of Hymera, IN, four grandchildren, Marci Gamble (Dan), Troy Goodman (Barette), Kelsey Moss (Justin), and Neil Stringfellow (Kirsten), nine great grandchildren, Abbi, Spencer, Trey, Cassi, Casen, Trace, Ann, Jake, and James, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Martha enjoyed family, friends, gardening, feeding everyone and a glass of ice tea. The family requests memorial donations be made to the Brown Baggers or the Sullivan County Humane Society. At Martha’s request private services were held, arrangements were entrusted to Newkirk’s Funeral Home.
