Mary Ellen (Carr) Hall

Mary Ellen Hall “Shorty” of Dugger< IN passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at her residence.

            She was born in Dugger, IN October 10, 1923 the daughter of Leonard Carr and Nellie Keene Carr.

            She was preceded in death by her parents, also her husband, George H Hall  March 27, 2003, four brothers, and one sister and a son in-law Larry Kendall.

            Mary was a member of the Church of Christ in Dugger, IN, she graduated from Dugger Union High School in 1941 and retired from General Electric in Linton, IN after 25 years .

            She is survived by a son Stephen Hall (Peggy) of Dugger, IN, two daughters, Kathy Pigg (Ronald) of Dugger, IN and Barbara Kendall of Linton, IN , six grandchildren; Stephanie Hall, Jackie Goodwin (Mike), Kevin Pigg, Dane Pigg (Heidi), Travis Kendall and Shauna Kendall, nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

            There will be a memorial service at 11:00AM Monday, December 21, 2020 at Newkirk’s Funeral Home. Burial in the Dugger Cemetery.
