Melissa Lynn (Lovelace) Chapman

Melissa Lynn Chapman, 61, of Dugger, IN passed away at 6:23AM at Sullivan Co. Community Hospital December 19, 2018.

            She was born in Sullivan Co., IN February 22, 1957 the daughter of Kerman Lovelace and Nancy Lehman Lovelace.

            Melissa was retired from KCARC, SCARC and GCARC, where she worked caring for handicapped citizens in the surrounding areas, a job that she loved and excelled at.

            She was preceded in death by her parents, also her husband of 35 years, Paul E. Chapman Sr.

            Survivors include three children, Josh Chapman, Sarah Morrow, and Susanne Bilyeu all of Dugger, IN, a sister, Nannette Goodman of Dugger, IN, three grandchildren, Caleb, Austin and Hayden Kelm, two nephews, Michael and Jared Goodman and one great niece, Nova Goodman.

            Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger, IN with Pastor Phillip Bilyeu and Michael Goodman officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until services Saturday. A private family burial will be at a later date.
