Michael A. (Boyll) Boyll

Michael A. Boyll, 72, of Sullivan, IN passed away Friday, October 6, 2023 at Union Hospital, in Terre Haute, IN.

            He was born in Vincennes, IN December 23, 1950 the son of Kenneth Boyll and Beunia (Henson) Boyll.

            Michael retired from GE in Linton, IN after 30 years,

 He was in the US Army Reserve, and a member of the Sullivan Moose Lodge #2517. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved his dog and fishing ,and watching old Westerns on television.

            He was preceded in death by his parents, also his first wife, Christina Mowery Boyll, two sons, Michael Aaron Boyll and Joey Goodwin, a brother, David Boyll, and a sister, Shirley Davison.

Survivors include his wife Melody (Pigg) Boyll, two daughters, Amy Boyll Sparks (Bart) of Lyons, IN and Valerie Simmerman of Dugger, IN, a sister, Pam Blakley (Tony) of Knoxville, TN., five grandchildren, Jalen, Delaney, Christopher (Karita), Samantha, and McKenzie, and four great- grandchildren.

            There will be a memorial service Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger, IN at 4:00PM, with a visitation from 2:00 PM until the service. Burial will take place at a later date in the Prairie Chapel Cemetery in Newberry, IN.
