Nancy Y (Carpenter) Gillespie

            Nancy Y. Gillespie, 76, of Switz City, Indiana passed away at IU Health in Bloomington, IN Friday, March 30, 2018.

            She was born in Greene County, IN November 18, 1941 the daughter of Gail Carpenter, and Agnes Irene Dove Carpenter.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Herbert David Gillespie in 2016.

She is survived by a son, Kevin Pope (Cheryl) of Columbiana Al, a daughter, Tammy Morris (Aaron) of Bloomfield, IN, a sister, Dollie Pickett of Switz City, Indiana,  and five grandchildren; Jarrod(Ashlie), Ashley(Tyler), Kenzie, Brittany(Josh) and Keith .

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 1:00PM at Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger, IN Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until Services Wednesday. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to PKD Foundation. Burial will follow in the Burris Chapel Cemetery.
