Nelda F (Lovelace) Barnard

Nelda F. Barnard 88 of Dugger, IN passed away Wednesday February 14, 2024, at Greene Co. General Hospital.

            She was born in Linton, IN December 10, 1935 the daughter of Urban Lovelace and Dona Bedwell Lovelace.

            Nelda was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Raymond Barnard Jr. in 2015 also three brothers; Hubert, Robert, and Kerman Lovelace.

            Survivors include a son, Eldon Keith Hollingsworth (Michelle) of Linton, IN, two daughters, Rebecca Hollingsworth of Dugger, IN, Alicia Barnard of Linton, IN, four grandchildren, Blake Kramer (Ireyland), Chelsey Skinner (Nathan), Jake Pedro, and Brad Pedro (Courtney), eight great grandchildren, Carter, Zane, and Isla  Pedro, Sophia, and Olivia Skinner, Atalie,   Audra, and Nash Kramer, stepchildren, Tom Barnard of Jasonville, IN, Dianna Shonk and Linda Vassett both of Montgomery, AL, nephews: Michael Lovelace (Judy), Alan Lovelace (Teri), Mark Lovelace (Pam), and Steve Lovelace (Albeth).

            Graveside services will be at 11:00 Monday, February 19, 2024 at the Dugger Cemetery with Minister Warren Shake officiating. There will be no visitation. Arrangements were entrusted to Newkirk’s Funeral Home.

            In lieu of flowers the family requests that donation may be made to the Greene Co. Humane society or to Safe Animal Rescue. Envelopes will be available at the cemetery.
