Norman L Brand Jr.

Norman L Brand Jr., 74 of Linton, Indiana passed away June 8, 2025 at Cypress Grove Rehab Center Linton, Indiana. Norman was born February 5, 1951 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the son of Norman L. Brand Sr. and Margaret (Lane) Brand. He was a member of the Linton American Legion Post 22 and the Linton V.F.W. He was a Vietnam Veteran. Norman was an avid fisherman and also loved hunting. He was Preceded in death by his parent, his wife, Lizabeth (Anderson) Brand, brother, Bruce Brand,  and a sister, Lorretta Kimsey. Survivors include a son, David Brand of Los Angeles, California, a daughter, Christina Boling (Jason) of Princeton, Indiana, three sisters, Janetta Brand, Joetta Nahmias, Teresa Leveridge, brother, Michael Brand, four grandchildren, Tyler, Caylee, Jenna, Caden and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger, Indiana at 1:00 PM Saturday June 21, 2025. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to the time of the service. Interment will follow in Dugger Cemetery in Dugger, Indiana with Military Rites by the Sullivan Co Honor Guard.
