Patricia Jean (Boone) Boone

Patricia Jean Boone, 80, of  Dugger returned home to her Lord on Sunday, January 4,
2015. She was born March 2, 1934, the daughter of Charles R. and Mary
Ethel (Eaves) Boone.
She was a graduate of Dugger Union High School and attended Butler
University. She was retired from Employers Mutual Insurance of
Wausau, Wisconsin. Upon returning to Dugger, she was the owner and
Operator of the Dugger Ice Cream Parlor, where she was well known for
Coneys.
She was a member of the Dugger Legion Auxiliary #224 and a former member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and Cass Conservation Club. She enjoyed
Reading, quilting, flower gardening, and spending time with her
Loving family.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Charles W. Boone, Robert
(Bernice) Boone, James Boone, and Harold C. (Virginia) Boone and
Sisters, Betty (George) Skaggs, Mary (Wayne) Brenton, Joan (Donald)
Axe and brother-in-law, James Cunningham.
Survivors are sisters, Brenda Jones of Beech Grove and Diana Cunningham of
Dugger and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Newkirk’s Funeral Home
With visitation 2 hours prior: Reverend Kenny Moyes officiating. Burial
Will follow at the Dugger Cemetery.
