Patricia (Bonham) Shacklett

Patricia Shacklett, 85, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Good Samaritan Society - Shakamak Retirement Community in Jasonville, Indiana.

            She was born on June 16, 1936 in Jasonville, Indiana the daughter of Leo Bonham and Pearl Richards Bonham. Patricia is a member of Jasonville American Legion Aux unit #172. She worked at the Keller Chair Factory for several years. 

            Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Alton Brooks Shacklett, brother, Paul Bonham, two sisters; Rosemary Bonham and Jane Richards and grandson, Jason Collier.

Survivors include four sons; Douglas Shacklett (Katherine) of Jasonville, Indiana, James Shacklett of Jasonville, Indiana, Dallas Shacklett (Shannon) of Shelburn, Indiana and Richard Shacklett of Sullivan, Indiana, three daughters; Paula Jewell of Jasonville, Indiana, Rebecca Shacklett of Las Vegas, Nevada and Danielle Marshall of Jasonville, Indiana, a sister, Barbara Grandedier of California ten grandchildren; Darrin Shacklett, Dusti Kendall, Thomas Shacklett, Douglas Shacklett, Shane Collier, Ryan Smith, Adrienne Shacklett, Patrick Shacklett, Corbin Marshall and Jasie Marshall. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great great- grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

            Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Newkirk’s Funeral Home with Pastor Tommy Pearison officiating. Interment will follow in Antioch Cemetery located in Dugger, Indiana. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger, Indiana.
