Paul Eugene Chapman, 70, of Dugger, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at his home in Dugger.
He was born on June 29, 1944, in Linton the son of Paul Chapman and Evelyn Bledsoe Chapman Baize, and raised from birth by Donald C. Baize. Paul and his family had a long term fellowship with Linton Church of Christ. He was in the United States Navy and served three terms in Vietnam. He worked in the electrical field for 25 years at Simanton Mechanical in Bloomington as the Service Manager. He was a member of the Dugger American Legion Post #224.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Jerry Chapman and Donald Baize.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Melissa Lovelace Chapman, two sons, Paul Chapman Jr. (Sarah) of Wakefield, RI, and Joshua Chapman of Linton, three daughters, April Fifer (Darrin) of Dugger, Sarah Morrow (Jeff) of Bloomington, and Susanne Bilyeu (T.J. Frye) of Carlisle, four sisters, Linda Chapman Schreiber of Hudson, FL, Mary Flater (Jack) of Linton, Janice Armpriester (James) of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Edna Garwood (Brian) of Linton, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM, Monday, April 6, 2015, at Fairview Cemetery in Linton with Pastor James Armpriester and with military graveside rites by the Dugger American Legion.
