Obituary

Paul L. Johnson, 74, of Midland, IN passed away Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Shakamak Good Samaritan Society in Jasonville, IN.

            He was born in Sullivan, IN January19, 1949 the son of Leland Leslie Johnson and Wilma Bohnert Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Devonna Yeryar Johnson,  sister, Janice Hamlin, brother, Jeff Johnson, and a great grandchild, Wyatt Dejesus.

            Paul was an Army Veteran in the Vietnam Era.

            Survivors include  a son, Chris Johnson of Terre Haute, IN, a daughter, Amanda Simmons (Spank) of Linton, IN, two sisters, Glenda Bruce (Jim) of Pittsboro, IN and Susan Herndon (Doc) of Jasonville, IN, step children, Greg Kennett (Ashley) of Jasonville, IN and Nan West (Bob) of Jasonville, IN, 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

            There will be no services, his wishes are to be cremated.

            Arrangements were entrusted to Newkirk’s Funeral Home.
