Phyllis J (Kennedy) Horne

Phyllis J. Horne, of Boonville, IN passed away Monday, September 21, 2015. She was born March 26, 1931 in Sullivan County, IN to Laud Kennedy and Lavera (Wright) Kennedy.
She was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ in Boonville, IN and Dugger United Methodist Church in Dugger, IN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Bill Kennedy, three sisters, her twin Jean Skinner, Wynona Sensing, and Judith Bell.
Survivors include her husband, James Horne of 66 years whom she married on August 8, 1949, two daughters, Sheryle Stephens (Kenneth) of Boonville, IN and Cindy Donnelly (Bob) of Indianapolis, IN, two sisters;  Ramona Bohnam of Dugger, IN and Judy Cliver of Dugger, IN, five grandchildren, Christopher Stephens, Travis Stephens, Arye Stephens, Natalie McKinley, and Greg Simmons, and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger, IN, September 24, 2015 at 1:00 with Pastor Robert Shofner officiating. Friends may call from 11:00 until services on Thursday. Interment will follow in the Dugger Cemetery.
