Raymond T “Bud” Barnard Jr, 84 of Dugger, Indiana passed away at his residence Friday, September 11, 2015.
He was born in Linton, Indiana April 6, 1931 the son of Raymond Barnard Sr. and Conza Maude McCammon Barnard.
Bud retired from Chesty Foods after 21 years and was also a manager at Krogers. He was a lifetime member of the Teamsters Union in Terre Haute.
He was preceded in death by his parents, also three brothers; Larry Joe Barnard, Robert L. Roberts, William J. Roberts, one sister; Mary Helen Massey.
Survivors include his wife; Nelda Lovelace Barnard of 46 years whom he married on April 20, 1969, four daughters; Linda Barnard Bassett, Diana Barnard Shonk of Montgomery, AL, Alicia Barnard and Rebecca Kramer of Linton, IN, two sons; Raymond Thomas Barnard III of Jasonville, IN, Keith Hollingsworth of Linton, IN, one sister; Connie Barnard Jewell of Linton, IN, 13 grandchildren ;
Janine Bundy, Calli Coyne, Lonnie, Byron Jack and Brandon, Faidherbe, Chet and Dayna Shonk, Austin and Braxton Barnard, Brad, and Jake Pedro, Chelsey Skinner, and Blake Kramer, 10 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00PM Thursday September 17, 2015 at the Dugger Cemetery with Rev. Steve Talpas officiating. There will be no visitation. Arrangements were entrusted to Newkirk’s Funeral Home.
