Rebecca J Gallagher, 65, of Farmersburg, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana.
She was born on July 29, 1949, in Terre Haute the daughter of Harry Weil and Norma Jeffers Weil. She was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church in Farmersburg.
Becky was preceded in death by her father.
Survivors include her husband, Leonard Gallagher, her mother, Norma Weil of Kentucky, one son, Eric Curry (Linda) of Indianapolis, two daughters, April Hadley (Chuck) of Clay City, and Candice Haviland (Carl) of Farmersburg, two brothers, Tony Weil of Farmersburg, and Andy Weil (Cheryl) of Logansport, two sisters, Nancy Roy of Kentucky, and Janice Engle of Terre Haute, seven grandchildren, Terra, Jessica, Ben, Lauren, Catlin, Zoey, and Annie, and three great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at Friendship Baptist Church in Farmersburg at 10:00 AM on Friday, April 10, 2015, with Pastor Andy Weil officiating.
Arrangements were entrusted to Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers the family requested that memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association.
