Robert P. “Bob” Sullivan, 84 of Linton went to be with the lord on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Spring Hill Village in Terre Haute, IN.
He was born in Linton, IN on April 13, 1932 to Frank Sullivan and Bertha Fensen Sullivan.
Bob was a Korean War Army Veteran. He retired from G.E. He enjoyed bowling, water skiing, golfing, tinkering with lawn mowers, and spending time with family.
He is survived by the mother of his children, Nettie “Sue” Rogers Sullivan of Linton, IN, three daughters, Donna Rogers Frazier of Terre Haute, IN, Tammie and Steven Steele of Lyons, IN, Paula and Johnny Houston of Linton, IN, two sons; Keith Sullivan and David Sullivan all of Linton, IN, eleven grandchildren, Zachary McBride, Nathaniel Steele, Brandy Frazier, Shaunacee Shrader, Lyndsey Sullivan, Kryslin Shelton, Mariah Houston, Gracey Houston, Desiree Sullivan, Hannah Sullivan, and Nevaeh Sullivan, twenty one great grandchildren, two sister-in-law’s, and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, six brothers, Clovis, Ora, Roy, Harold, William, and John Sullivan, three sisters, Bessie Johnson, Hazel Johnson and Betty Jo Sullivan, an infant son, Rocky, an infant daughter, Teresa, an infant grandson, Noah Houston and nephews, Jerry Sullivan, Larry Sullivan, and Jimmy Sullivan.
A private graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery with Military Rites by the Linton American Legion
