Robin Z Abrell

Robin Z. Abrell, 65, of Worthington, Indiana passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Greene County General Hospital in Linton, Indiana.          

She was born in Whittier, California on October 10, 1956 the daughter of Hoyt Duboise and Mary Jewell Duboise.

Robin retired from Boston Scientific in Spencer, Indiana. She was a Lifetime Auxiliary Member of the Worthington VFW Post# 7117 and the American Legion Post #106.

She loved her family dearly as much as she loved the Chicago Cubs and the Indianapolis Colts. She spent her childhood playing softball and eventually met the love of her life, Tony while playing softball for the Freedom Angels.

Survivors include her husband, of 17 years Tony Abrell, two daughters: Misty Jerrells (Chuck Robison) of Linton, Indiana and Kyllie Jerrell (Ryan Huff) of Dugger, Indiana, two brothers: Ryan Duboise (Maxine) of Florida and Randy Duboise (Debbie) of California, nine grandchildren: Cody Bedford, Myranda Miller (Adam Quakenbush), Landon Jerrells, Logan Jerrells, Layla Garwood, Breleigh Mason, Hudson Huff, Alexis Gilreath and Dawson Dhahir and two great grandchildren: Myah and Asher Quakenbush.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Benjamin Duboise.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, June 25, 2022 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger, Indiana.
