Ronald P Frye

Ronald P. Frye, 81, of Bucktown, IN passed away at his residence Friday, November 17, 2023.

            He was born in Pleasantville, IN. May 11, 1942, the son of Freal Frye and Lola May (Sheilds) Frye.

            Ronald was on the Northeast School Board Corp. for 26 years; he was a farmer and a mechanic. He loved to give all of his grandkids nick names, and to collect Case International tractors.

            He was preceded in death by his parents, also a brother, Freal Frye Jr., and two sisters, Phyllis White, and Gloria Beck.

            Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Nancy (Harbin) Frye whom he married on November 19, 1960, two sons, Kevin Frye (Kelly) of Lewis, IN, and T.J. Frye of Bucktown, IN, two daughters, Ronda Jackson (Kent) of Linton, IN and Natalie Reynolds (Chad) of Dugger, IN. eight grandchildren, Landi Cliver (Caleb), Nikki Clark (Derek), Traven Bedwell (Chad), Chase Frye (Elaine), Tanner Reynolds (Rockelle), Kolbi Fougerousse (Dess), Easton Jackson, McKinley Frye,  and ten great grandchildren; Linkyn Yarber, Walker and Cashen Cliver, Braxton, Harlow, and Maverick Clark, Mya Fougerousse, Elliette, Emmerson Reynolds, and Creed Jackson, and one great granddaughter on the way.

            There will be a Celebration of Life at the Pleasantville Gym Wednesday November 22, 2023 from 11:00 AM Until 2:00 PM

            Arrangements were entrusted to Newkirk’s Funeral Home.
