Sandra K (Smith) Cox

Sandra K Cox, 79 of Carlisle, IN passed away Sunday June 13, 2021 in Miller’s Merry Manor in Sullivan, IN With her family by her side.

            Sandra was born in Sullivan, IN  March 18, 1942 the daughter of Clarence Smith and Hazel (Plew) Smith.

            She graduated from Sullivan High School and was a seamstress employed at Gozzards. Sandra enjoyed being outdoors and crafting. She loved her family and leaves behind many beautiful memories.

            She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Harvey Smith.     

            Survivors include her husband of 54 years Nolan R. Cox whom she married on February 10, 1967, a son, Nolan Michael Cox (Mandi) of Terre Haute, IN, a step son, Todd Cox (Beth) of Lakeland, FL, a step daughter, Kelly Roth (Rex) of Bicknell, IN. a sister, Myrna Raney of Valdosta, GA, two grandchildren, Ethan and Michaela Cox, and two step grandchildren, Cameron and Rhys Cox.

            A graveside service will be held at Indian Prairie Cemetery in Carlisle, IN on Friday, June 18, 2021 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Curt Bedwell officiating .Arrangements were entrusted to Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger, IN.
